Breaking the Silence

This was a marketing campaign for Community Alliance’s annual fundraiser, Breaking the Silence. The celebrity speaker that year was Darryl Strawberry, a former Major League Baseball player who was drafted by the New York Mets in 1980. I chose blue and orange to match the team's colors. I used Gill Sans Ultrabold in the headlines because, though the font itself is much older, it reminded me of designs from the 1980s. The circles used throughout mimic baseballs.
